Over on Main Street, "General Stuff Merchantile" was missing its sign. We always liked the pun and hope it returns in all its kitschy glory.

A big change this year was the removal of the battle zone interactive upcharge water attraction. The area has been nicely transformed into a food outlet with nice grassy lawn and picnic tables. While no one likes the removal of any attraction, we never thought Battle Zone really "fit" in with Silverwood, and we applaud its removal.

Another look at the area.

One more view. Again, they didn't just remove the ride, but they left no trace and plussed up the area nicely with more beautiful landscaping. Fantastic!

Great news this year as Tremors is running better than it has in what seems like a decade. The addition of several sections of much needed topper track from the friends down the road at Rocky Mountain Coasters has brought Tremors back to its glory. We've been on over 250 coasters all over the world, and this one is a Top 20 ride for sure!

More topper track as you blast out of the second tunnel. For years this was the most violent spot on the ride, but no longer. The train pulls up and into this turn in a wonderfully smooth way.

One last look.

Finally, a look at the new staged area for the mid-train ride show. Every year they change this up, and this year is no exception. The added props are great and allow for some nice stunts.

Another view of the area. Silverwood has done a nice job keeping this show fresh and fun. Always entertaining when it changes every year and you never know quite what to expect!
