Inside the haunt, the theming and detail didn't disappoint!

And further into the haunt and throughout, the Zombie hunter crew are in person. Here you can see two of the main characters, including Sgt. Buzz!

This haunt truly had some great theming. It was incredible!

The checkpoint at the end of the haunt. Be sure to let BioGov know if you've been infected!

While there will always be a part of us that misses the Zombiewood Express, and all that it came to stand for over the 8 seaons it graced the park, we were very pleasantly surprised by the new Planet Zombie haunt. The theming and theatrical elements were very well done. You simply can't go wrong with Nick Norton and his ability to work a crowd at the park - he is great both on stage and in character! We took the time to experience the haunt twice, and found it even better the second time through. No doubt, we'll be looking forward to watching this grow and improve in the years to come. Major props to Scarywood on another world-class haunt!

It's quite the experience looking down the lift hill from this angle!!

In summary, Scarywood 2017 was exactly what we have come to love, plus a fantastic new haunt added into the mix. The event seems to get better with each year! If you haven't been out yet, there is still time to go, and you don't want to miss it! Are you brave enough?
