Lastly, we'll cover Blood Bayou - the attraction that put Scarywood on the map.

Another food stand was put up near the queue for Blood Bayou. Again, great to see the park doing these kinds of things.

In line there was a cool photo-op set that we saw plenty of guests take advantage of. Also, look closely at the spotlight up in the corner - this was a creepy little special effect that made it appear that the wall was crawling with roaches!

Above the door, the menacing monster awaits his next victims.

We absolutely love the atmosphere inside this haunt!

Blood Bayou was as good as ever, with a few new surprises throughout. Those who have been to Scarywood for the past two years will find much of it to be the same, but it still packs a punch. It continues to be the top-notch haunt we have all come to know and love! The big question on our minds: With Blood Bayou in its third straight year - is it due for a major overhaul next year? Time will tell...

Of course we couldn't do our Scarywood PTR without a few shots of Timber Terror backwards.

It's a great ride to begin with. Experiencing it backwards just makes it all that much better.

Head over early though - the line gets long very quickly!

We'll say what we've said for the past two years - you HAVE to try this thing out, even if you don't like Halloween events. It's totally worth it!

So, how did Scarywood 2012 measure up? While much of the experience was familiar to us, we definitely noticed improvements across the board. 3Dementia was an awesome addition. And expanding into Coaster Alley was a great move, which helped spread out the crowds. There are two weekends left to experience it all for yourself - the only question that remains is, are you brave enough?
