New this year was an awesome section covered in bugs and spider webs.

Plus the occasional snake or two! This section was incredible!

And finally, the vortex tunnel was the only way to get to the exit!

3-Dementia continues to be one of our all-time favorites of the event. It has a very different feel to it compared with the rest of the park, with it's blaring dance music throughout, vividly bright colors, and stunning 3-D effects. 2015 was definitely an improved version, and we liked it so much we even went through a second time!

Next up, let's head over to Blood Bayou. The queue outside the building didn't have the news broadcast or any photo op section, but inside the building, the anamatronic gargoyle was in full action.

Unlike previous years, we were actually able to snap a few photos with some clarity inside the attraction. Here is the doorway where guests enter the haunt.

Inside, you can see just how detailed and elaborate the theming is.

This is the room just before entering the elevators. Much of this section feels a lot like a demented version of Haunted Mansion.

Here you can see some of the decor inside, giving a very real sense of being lost in a jungle.

In terms of sheer theming, nothing at Scarywood comes close to Blood Bayou. Truly a top-notch attraction, with so much detail and effort put into it each year. While much of what we saw was familiar to previous years, the effects still pack a punch, and always leave us wishing this could remain open more than just one month a year.

One very new addition was this dance group in the Main Street area, as well as the DJ and music booth above. Every 30 minutes or so, a group of zombies would come out and perform the last couple minutes of "Thriller". This provided some great entertainment for those standing in line for Blood Bayou.

We really liked how well themed the Main Street area was. The entire section of the park was really made to look like a set from The Walking Dead.
