Upon reaching the haunt itself, soon-to-be victims of Rusty Sprocket hear dance music blaring from all angles. Ahead, the familar facade from 2012 looms overhead.

Inside, guests are first brought into this room of doors with no handles! After a brief intro to the attraction, one of two doors automatically opens, allowing for us to experience one of the two routes through Rusty's demented mind. Although some slight differences exist with respect to the decor on the walls, both routes are essentially the same, just mirror-images of each other.

With the 3D glasses, these skulls pop right out in your face!

This tunnel is quite disorienting in 3D, as the lights that flash around the walls also pop right out.

One of our favorite portions of the walkthrough was this hallway with spikes coming from both sides. These may look like 3D illusions, but they're real!

Another new addition we enjoyed - these walls would "fold" in and out as you walk through, making it difficult to know where to go. And of course, with the dots popping out in 3D, that made it even more fun! Beyond this, the exit to the haunt leads guests out behind the picnic area over towards the exit to Aftershock.

3Dementia was again a very fun attraction, with many new 3D elements that were very impressive! The use of two routes instead of one made it feel quite a bit shorter than 2012's version. We'd love to see the attraction lengthened again in future years, perhaps using some of the outdoor pathway leading up to the entrance. That might be a perfect spot for the vortex tunnel to make a comeback!

Next up - Total Darkness. This was the brand new haunt for 2013, located in the Theater of Illusion.

The entrance to this haunt was over by the guest services/lost & found building. As usual, the surrounding areas were nicely themed.

Guests lined up along this pathway behind the guest services building. It was a great spot to watch several of the scareactors jump out at people on the main pathway!
