And here's the leader of our crew - Sgt. Buzz himself! Nick Norton again does a fantastic job playing this part. This year, there was a new member of the crew - a Russian zombie hunter from the future named Ivanna. Sadly, we weren't able to get a clear photo. Hopefully she will forgive us!

We managed to snap a photo of the explosion over the train tressle - one of our favorite scenes on the ride!

Out at the mine, the crew re-stocks their ammo, before things start to get nasty!

We won't spoil the rest of the show, but this defintely remains the most unique attraction Scarywood has to offer. You won't find anything like this anywhere else. This year, we really noticed how well executed the show is. With some great actors, amazing sets, and awesome new animatronic zombies in the forest, it's no wonder the Travel Channel picked the Zombiewood Express as one of the top 10 haunts in 2013. Congrats to everyone involved on such a well-deserved honor!

The fifth and final haunt is of course, the legendary Blood Bayou.

The storyline lead-up was a bit different this time around. As we apprached the building, we noticed a "news broadcast" displaying some creepy evidence.

"SKRY News"...gotta love a good pun. :) Hopefully in the future, Silverwood will add the audio, so we are able to experience the full effect.

Just before entering, a board displays a slew of people gone missing. Take a minute to read all of the names - they are great!

Inside, we see the entrance to one of the best themed haunts you'll ever see. Sadly, the gargoyle animatronic wasn't working that evening, but he still looked as menacing as ever!

We say it every year, but this haunt never fails to deliver. It's incredibly long, well themed, and downright disturbing at times! There were several new scenes throughout the walkthrough, so keep your eyes open!

Moving on, we'll take a look at some of the themeing and scare zones throughout the park. Up at the front gate, the carousel horse display is caged off, with a fog machine that enshrouds the entire thing every few minutes. It looks really cool!

One of our favorite scare zones was the Scarywood Nest. Located on the pathway between The Ancient Ruins and 3Dementia, this tunnel of spider webs is just sick - and there's no way around it! This is the view from the Ancient Ruins side.
