From the new plaza, you can see large mounds of dirt and boulder litter the area next to the highway construction project.

Fencing was completed even more the next day. We wonder about the area behind this fence. It sits right next to Garfield's Summer Camp. We were hoping expansion of this area, but it seems the entire back section will be fenced in as well, creating a barrier to the kiddie area.

They were hard at work getting this fence up while we were there. Probably a good idea as there really was nothing stopping guests from walking back into the empty area behind, where some supplies were kept.

From a distance, you can see the gaps in the fence...we're not sure what purpose those might serve in the future.

So what is behind that new fence? Peeking into the area from near Tiny Toot, we can see a long asphalt path, and a whole lotta' nothing.

We wish we could say that this area will probably see an expansion of Garfield's Summer Camp, but the fence was being constructed around the entire area.

Some supplies for the project are being kept in this area. Perhaps this will be the intent of the area even after completion?

The Silverwood marquee still stands. Sure is strange seeing the area that used to be the freeway, sitting there bare.

A long shot shows just how large this area is. It should be able to handle some serious crowds and prevent the tunnel from backing up.
